Rangiora Pedestrian LaneAssisting with earthquake repairs in High Street Rangiora by providing a pedestrian lane and road closure for a crane removing parapet from a block of shops. We needed to close the road and provide a safe and practical walk way whilst minimising the impact on the shop owners, local residents and community. By coordinating with the contractors, shop owners and Waimakariri District Council we ensured that traffic was managed in the best way possible for all parties. |

Palm Tree RepositioningWhites Traffic Management provided traffic management for a crane company shifting a palm tree from a residential Christchurch property to a new Canterbury subdivision . Often we provide traffic management for projects that attract considerable public interest – watching a large crane shifting a palm tree can be entertaining so we need to be alert to the safety of all road users and the spectators by ensuring that everyone is at a safe distance. |
